Path

Why.What.Where.

We begin our designs with questions that have responses through detailed research—an architectural research of the space we build, and the people we build for. We research sustainable buildings around the world, examining the environment and materials used, and incorporate this knowledge into every Indian home we design. We localise the language of the space to its regional ideology by borrowing both from the past and also creating new stories of space in its unique way.

Our design path is a combination of science and storytelling.
While we use natural materials such as exposed brick, lime plaster, courtyards, and rain-fed gardens, we also incorporate elements of aesthetics and memories. Our eco-friendly homes, retreats, and workspaces become unique yet unmatched scientific designs. We design sustainably by incorporating planning concepts to use fewer materials and maximise space. Our buildings are well-lit and ventilated naturally, minimising the use of artificial energy sources. The choice of material is also based on its impact during manufacturing and throughout its life cycle, ensuring it doesn’t become a carbon-positive element and is mindful of its impact on the planet.
